There is a lockable hasp on the door. Bring your own padlock.

Additional amenities include: an outdoor picnic table, a BBQ, and a fire ring outside.

Communal water faucets, restrooms, and pay showers are available nearby.

Due to possible snow or icy conditions, tire chains may be required to access this cabin from November through April.

Due to natural resource and traffic concerns, as well as limited Day Use parking, all reservations for family campsites and cabins will be limited to three license plated vehicles and/or trailers. Two vehicles may park at the site and one may park in the overflow day use lot.

Reservation fees include entry for 1 vehicle. Your second and third vehicles will be charged per night and will not be paid for when you make your reservation with Reserve California, even if you register them at the time of making a reservation. There are no charge for trailers.

Vehicles over 10 feet high are not recommended.

Pets, e.g. dogs & cats, must be controlled at all times. No horses allowed at the cabins. No pets allowed on trails except for Cuyamaca Peak lookout fire road, leashed.

There are 3 single beds without mattresses, and room to accommodate up to 8 either inside the den or in a tent outside if additional bedding is brought. Customers need to bring their own bedding, camping pad, or air mattress.

The Nature Den is minimally furnished with a small table, chairs, and a bench.

There is minimal electricity - enough to run a 1500-watt heater at most (heater not provided).

There is a small fireplace, but if you make a fire, it must be small. Customers need to bring wood or purchase it from a camp host, or the entry kiosk.

Campers are responsible to clean the den before vacating.
