In-Person Public Meeting for the Off-Highway Vehicle Access Project | Date: March 31, 2023 | Location: Renaissance Palm Springs Hotel, 888 Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs 92262 | Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Meeting Information: Meeting Information California State Parks (CSP) will hold an open house to inform the public about the Off-Highway Vehicle Access Project and receive input. The meeting will be in person; the public can join anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. There will be stations with topics of interest and time to discuss the project with State Parks staff. The public will learn about Senate Bill 155 and the Department’s process for searching, selecting, and acquiring property; discuss OHV recreation opportunities and visitor needs; and discuss potential locations for OHV recreation opportunities, including partnerships, leases, and new properties.

Request For Proposals

April 3, 2023 : California State Parks Announces Argonaut Refreshment Saloon Food and Beverage Concession Opportunity at Marshall Gold Discovery SHP
In an effort to inform interested parties about the contract requirements and proper submission of proposals, the department has released a presentation about the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and the stipulations unique to the concession opportunity.  The department encourages all interested parties to view the presentation which is available online at Current Concession Opportunities until June 16, 2023.
A copy of the request for proposals (RFP) is available for download from Cal e-Procure at CaleProcure.ca.gov
A mandatory on-site tour of the current concession will take place on April 14, 2023, at 9 a.m. at the Argonaut Refreshment Saloon located at 331 CA-49 in Coloma.
