State Historical Resources Commission
The State Historical Resources Commission will hold a workshop on Wednesday, May 6, at 1 p.m., at the Riverside Convention Center, 3637 5th Street, Room MR3. This workshop is open to the public. The Commission will conduct its quarterly meeting on Thursday, May 7, at 1 p.m., also at the Riverside Convention Center, in Room MR6. The public may attend in person or view the meeting via CAL-SPAN. Please vist the SHRC Meeting Schedule and Notices webpage for additional details, including the workshop and meeting agendas.

California Boating and Waterways Commission
The California Boating and Waterways Commission will host a public tour of Donner Lake on Wednesday, May 6, at 10 a.m. The Commission will conduct its quarterly meeting on Thursday, May 7, also at 10 a.m., in Truckee. California State Parks Concession Opportunity – April 27, 2026 - RFP Opening Advertisement for Sonoma State Historic Park Historic-style Event Space and Lodging
The California Department of Parks and Recreation is accepting proposals for a 50-year concession contract for the operation and development of historic-style event space and lodging services at Sonoma State Historic Park. Proposals are due by 2:00 P.M. on September 15, 2026 at the Department of Parks and Recreation, 715 P Street, 13th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814. A required tour and pre-proposal meeting will be held on May 18th, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. at the Presidio of Sonoma (Sonoma Barracks), 36 East Spain St., Sonoma CA 95476. California State Parks Concession Opportunity – The California Department of Parks and Recreation is accepting proposals for a 10-year concession contract for the operation of the historic-style specialty retail at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park (OTSDSHP). Proposals are due by 2:00 PM on June 5, 2026, at the Department of Parks and Recreation, 715 P Street, 13th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814. A pre-proposal meeting and tour will be held on March 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Colorado House, Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, 2733 San Diego Ave. San Diego, CA 92110.
