Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Commission
The OHMVR Commission will host a tour on Wednesday, June 11 starting at the Tahoe National Forest Ranger Station and meet on Thursday, June 12 at the North Tahoe Event Center. Please visit the Commission Meetings webpage for additional information, meeting documents, and meeting registration. 

State Park and Recreation Commission

The State Park and Recreation Commission will conduct a public tour of several state parks in Los Angeles County, June 25, 2025. This tour is open to the public. The tour will begin at approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, and includes Will Rogers State Historic Park, Topanga State Park, and the Adamson House at Malibu Lagoon State Beach. Due to physical closures of the fire affected areas, members of the public will not be allowed to drive their own vehicles and will need to ride in vehicles provided by California State Parks. Registration is required to adequately accommodate travel logistics. Visit the Commission meeting webpage to register for either tour before June 13.

California State Parks Seeks Public Input Regarding Park Classification and Naming
California State Parks seeks public input on the classification and naming of Wildwood Canyon Park Property. A public meeting will be held on Monday, June 16, at 6:30 p.m. at  the Yucaipa Community Center Banquet Room, located at 34900 Oak Glen Rd., Yucaipa, CA 92399. California State Parks Seeks Public Input Regarding Concession Facility
California State Parks seeks public input on the future of the concession located within Palomar Mountain State Park (SP) inside the facilities formerly known as the Palomar Outdoor School. A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 25, at 3 p.m. at Palomar Mountain SP, located at 14592 State Park Road Palomar Mountain, CA 92060. View the Public Notice

RFP Opening Advertisement for Silverwood Lake Marina Concession Opportunity

May 30, 2025 - California State Parks Concession Opportunity – The California Department of Parks and Recreation is accepting proposals for a 30-year concession contract for the operation of the marina at Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area (SRA). Proposals are due by 2:00 P.M. on October 8, 2025, at the Department of Parks and Recreation, 715 P Street, 13th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814. A pre-proposal meeting and tour will be held on July 9, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Silverwood Lake SRA Marina at 13985 Sawpit Canyon Rd., Hesperia, CA 92345.
