2025 REGISTRATION OPENS THURSDAY APRIL 3rd at 9 AM
Reminder that there is no priority registration for returning Junior Guards, sign ups are on a first come first served basis and spaces are limited.
DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING POPULARITY OF THE JUNIOR GUARD PROGRAM AND DEMAND FOR ENTRY WE WILL NOW BE LIMITING JUNIOR GUARD PARTICIPANTS TO INITIAL REGISTRATION IN ONLY ONE OF THE TWO SUMMER SESSIONS. IF YOU REGISTER FOR BOTH SESSIONS THEN ONE OF THOSE SESSIONS WILL BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN BOTH SESSIONS THEN YOU WILL NEED TO GET ON THE WAITLIST FOR THE SESSION WHICH YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED FOR.
Prior to registration, you must create an account on ReserveCalifornia and list the JG's you wish to enroll, as dependents on your account. Instructions here.
TO REGISTER FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Under Category, enter Junior Guards.
2) Under Place, enter Half Moon Bay.
3) Under Choose Date, enter the FIRST day of the session you are trying to sign up for. For Session 1: June 9, 2025. For Session 2, July 7, 2025.
4) Click "Show Availability". This will bring you to the landing page to sign up for the program.
5) Each Session has two registration links, one for RETURNING Junior Guards and one for NEW Junior Guards. Please choose the appropriate link to register your Junior Guard.
6) Once the Sessions are at capacity you will need to be put on a Waitlist for potential entry IF a space becomes available. Please e-mail Jrguards.HMB@parks.ca.gov to be put on the Waitlist.
