Interpretive Programs will begin to slow down in September 2024. Please visit us on the weekends in Septemeber and call 530-836-2380 to hear of any current programming in the Fall.
Weekly Park Programs
Friday
11 – 2 Assay Office Tours + Blacksmithing
The Assay Office will be open every day this summer until Labor day. Learn how they got the gold out of the mountain and see some blacksmith demos!
Saturday
11 & 12:30 Historic Moriarty House Tour
Learn about the life of a mining family with a tour of a historic home. Space is limited to 8 people per session. Sign up in museum.
11:00 Candle Making
Sign up in the museum to take part in this hands-on historical craft. Open to children ages 7 +. Space is limited.
11- 2 Woodshop + Assay Office + Blacksmith Tours
8 or 9 PM Campfire Program!
