Free Access
Park Passes
There are three park pass programs that may be of interest to you, which provide free access to participating state parks for kids and their families.
- California State Library Parks Pass: You can check out a free vehicle day-use pass at your local library with your library card and visit over 200 participating state parks.
- California State Park Adventure Pass: This pass provides free entry to 54 select, amazing parks for fourth graders and their families (including up to three adults and other kids and friends) in one vehicle.
- Golden Bear Pass: If your family receives help from the state program called CalWORKs, you can qualify for a free, year-round park pass to access more than 200 participating state parks and beaches.
