Campfire Program: Geology of Mt Tam

While many people think Mount Tamalpais is a volcano, it is not. The story of the formation of this mountain and its rocks goes way beyond just magma and lava. Come and learn about the mélange of rock that comprises Mt Tam and take a closer look at some of them too at this evening program.

 

The Pantoll Stage area has no seating, so bring your own chairs. Visitors are also welcome to bring food and beverages to the program. It may be getting dark when the program wraps up, so flashlights or headlamps are recommended.
