Living History and Ducky Derby

Living history on Saturday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the picnic area behind the museum. Visit with costumed docents and learn what life may have been like during the gold rush with live demonstrations. 

The annual Ducky Derby and BBQ will also be happening. Sponsor a duck and watch as it races through the park in the Miners' Flume. Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and last place finishers. Enjoy a BBQ lunch and peruse handmade goods from local vendors. All proceeds benefit educational and restoration efforts in the park.
