It is located off Route 9 in Felton at 101 North Big Trees Park Road. For more information, phone (831) 438-2396 to reach the campground or (831) 335-4598 the reach the day use area.

Camping

Five sites (#17, #23, #24, #109, and #112) are designated accessible. Most sites have accessibly designed tables and fire rings. The restroom located next to campsite #22 is generally accessible. Toilets are accessible. The showers are generally accessible. Routes to restrooms are generally accessible.

Trails

Meadow Trail is accessible for at least 0.50 mile. Trailhead, designated accessible parking and gift shop are located in the main parking lot. Accessible restroom is in the campground near site #22.

River Trail a popular hiking and horse trail, leads through the redwoods to the river and is accessible for the first 4,000 feet. Access begins off the Meadow Trail at about 1,000 accessible feet (0.2 mile) in from its trailhead.

Redwood Loop Interpretive Trail is accessible for 0.75 mile. The trailhead is located adjacent to the Nature Center. An audio version of the interpretive stops along the trail can be downloaded here.

Exhibits/Programs

Nature Center: Most of the exhibits and aisles in the Nature Center are generally accessible. However, the insect displays lack adequate aisle space and somewhat hinder the approach to wall exhibits behind them. Route of travel from the parking area to the center is accessible but assistance may be needed with a slightly high entry threshold. It is 350 feet from parking to the Nature Center, so drop-offs may be advisable for those with mobility issues.
