The trailhead, accessible restroom, and accessible parking are located at the east end of the Stout Memorial Grove parking lot.The Simpson Reed Peterson Memorial Trails are a 0.93 mile accessible loop trail experience through old growth Redwoods. The surface is compacted aggregate. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% slopes with intermittent sections between 5% to 8%. Accessible parking and non-flush accessible restroom is located off Walker Road (not Highway 199).
The Nature River Trails is a 0.6 mile accessible trail through redwood forest with views of the Smith River from the day-use area to the campground. The surface is compacted aggregate. There is one armored crossing on the trail that water flows over during rain events that might be challenging for some users. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% slopes with intermittent sections between 5% to 12%. An accessible picnic area is located at the trailhead of the Nature Trail in the day-use area. Accessible parking and restrooms are located near both trailheads.
