Año Nuevo Natural Resources Volunteer Program
ABOUT THE AÑO NUEVO NATURAL RESOURCES PROGRAM:
Año Nuevo’s natural resources staff have begun a large-scale natural resource management project across the grasslands of Año Nuevo State Park. The project’s main goals are to help convert currently invasive plant-filled grasslands back to a native coastal scrub habitat. State parks staff lead on-going workdays with the assistance of public, student, and Docent volunteers on projects including: invasive plant control, habitat restoration, native plant propagation.
