You can help protect this magical place.

Visit the park! Soak up as much information and inspiration as you can. If you’ll be coming to Trinidad State Beach or other California state parks frequently, buy a parks pass—an excellent way to save money and support state parks.

Volunteer to help restore and protect the park. There are short and long term volunteer opportunities within the Natural Resources Program. Short term events are drop-in habitat restoration volunteer work days mostly focused on invasive species removal. These events are a great way to connect with Park staff, learn about native flora and fauna, become educated on natural resource management techniques and tools, and meet new community members. We partner with schools of all ages, scout groups, religious groups, and many more! Long term volunteer work offers job shadowing and involved training for those interested in a more immersive experience. For example, long term volunteers can be trained on GPS/GIS applications, assist with vegetation surveys, and work on individual projects that match your schedule.
