Swim Test

Swim Test Dates: 

Saturday May 10th: 10am-12pm

Sunday May 18th: 10am-12 pm

 You only need to attend one testing date.

No reservation needed, show up at any time within the two hours.

We aim to get you signed up and tested within 30 minutes.

Swim Test Information:         

What do I do at the swim test?                                                                          

A 100 yard swim (four lengths) under a maximum time limit.                                   

Test Times:

9-11 years old-  under 2:10 
12-13 years old- under 2:00  
14-16 years old- under 1:50 

Returning Jr. Guards "DO NOT" need to retest.    

If you are on a Swim Team, Water Polo team, or have participated in another Junior Guard program email us with your 100 freestyle time and the team you participate on along with the coaches contact information, or the Jr. Guard Program you previoulsy attended and we will waive your swim test.          

This is not a learn to swim program. For safety purposes, your child needs to be confident in the ocean and must pass a swim test. Please prepare your child before the test! You will need to have your child show up at the pool with swim suits on ready to swim.

If you do not complete a swim test, you will be refunded and not able to attend the program.

There will be no retesting for any child who fails to meet the time reqirement. 

We will not be allowing any make up swims for those who can not attend a swim.
