Notice of Project Work at Half Moon Bay State Beach - Roosevelt Beach

California Department of Parks and Recreation's Acquisition and Development Division to begin work on the Pullman Ditch culvert replacement.
Work will begin April 1, 2026 and is expected to continue on weekdays for 3 months.

This project will reconstruct the existing Pullman Ditch culvert and extents of the Half Moon Bay Coastal Trail and Roosevelt Beach Access Road at Half Moon Bay Roosevelt Beach. Improvement will consist of full replacement of the Pullman Ditch culvert to allow for proper drainage control. 

Roosevelt Beach parking lot, restrooms, and trash cans will remain closed through the duration of the project. The Coastail Trail and beach access for pedestrians will remain open.
