Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area Reopens Following Lake Fire
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY — California State Parks today announced the reopening of Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area (SRA) following a nearly month-long closure caused by the Lake Fire in late June. Visitors can now fully access the park via State Route (SR) 138, which was closed due to fire damage, and the main entrance, both of which have reopened. The highway will be subject to one-way traffic control on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. while Caltrans continues to repair the roadway.
