COLOMA — California State Parks invites the public to celebrate the holidays with Christmas in Coloma at Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park (SHP), one of the yearlong events celebrating California’s 175th anniversary. The festivities will take place on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

Among the activities at Christmas in Coloma:

  • Carriage rides, warming fires and live music create a magical environment.
  • Enjoy holiday shopping with over 40 local vendors.
  • Be entertained with Victorian era games and crafts for all ages.
  • Create a fresh wreath with festive live greens, ribbons and bows.
  • Share holiday wishes with Santa from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
  • Visit 14 historic buildings decorated for the holidays and open to visitors.
