Beauty in Resilience Climate Walk

Starts at Pantoll at 9am

For the State Parks Week theme "Support Climate Resilience". Registration is required on the California State Parks Week site, where you can also check out other events in other parks around the state!
 
Mount Tamalpais State Park and the neighboring Mount Tamalpais Watershed are parks of stunning natural beauty and amazing biodiversity.
 
Join State Parks and Marin Water staff on an easy hike that explores that beauty and biodiversity of the mountain as well as what our agencies are doing to support its climate resilience. (Out and back on Old Stage Road.)
 
Participants should wear clothing and footwear suitable for an up to 4-mile round-trip hike and bring sun protection, drinking water, and any snacks they might want.
 
 
Parking is at the Pantoll Campground at 3801 Panoramic Highway in Mill Valley. This is also a bus stop for Marin Transit’s Route 61 bus. Please meet beside the campground restrooms.
