6/11/2026    Mount Tamalpais State Park

Watercolor Walk

Starts at Pantoll at 1pm

For the State Parks Week Theme of "Nourish Your Health & Well-Being". Registration required at the State Parks Week site, where you can check out more events in parks around the state!

Time in nature and artistic expression are both beneficial to one’s well-being, so why not enjoy both in a beautiful state park?

We will combine a 1-mile round-trip nature walk through woodlands (Lower Old Mine Trail) with outdoor watercolor painting in a location (Cardiac Hill) with ocean views (weather permitting).

Art supplies will be provided, so participants should simply bring sun protection, drinking water, and any snacks they may want. If the weather is warm and sunny, we will have some pop-ups set up for shade. We will also have some folding chairs so that participants will not have to sit on rocks or the ground unless they wish to!

Parking is at the Pantoll Campground at 3801 Panoramic Highway in Mill Valley. This is also a bus stop for Marin Transit’s Route 61 bus. Please meet beside the campground restrooms.
