STATE PARKS WEEK: Pride Birding

Time: 10:15am-1:00pm

Join the Queer Birders Bay Area for a birding hike…on an island!

We'll meet at the "Welcome" sign directly ahead of where the ferry lands on Angel Island. We'll bird a loop about 1.5 to 2 miles. The trail is partially paved, and includes dirt sections with uneven surfaces and some moderately steep sections including uneven stairs with no handrail.

There are flush toilets, drinking water, and a small café at the trailhead on Angel Island. There are no facilities along the route. Dress in layers and bring a water bottle, sunscreen, snacks, and binoculars if you have them. We may have a few pair of binoculars to loan. The event will be capped at 30 participants.
