Overview

Will Rogers State Historic Park is currently closed due to the Palisades Fire, which severely damaged park structures on 1/7/25. Full damage assessments are pending. There is no anticipated date for reopening any portion of the park. Email angelesinfo@parks.ca.gov or phone (818) 880-0363 for more information.

Picnic Area

Two accessibly designed picnic tables at the east end of the park, an accessible parking space and accessible portable restroom are nearby. The route of travel and area around the tables are usable.

Trails

The Inspiration Loop Trail is an ‘out-and-back’ accessible trail that is 0.42 miles each way that begins at the riding arena. The trail offers amazing views of the Los Angeles Basin and the surrounding Santa Monica Mountains. The surface is compacted soil. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% slopes with intermittent sections between 5% to 8%. Accessible parking is not available at the trailhead. Please contact the park interpreter at (310) 230-2017 for wheelchair accessible service to access the trailhead.
