Overview

Bidwell Mansion SHP is currently closed due to a fire which severely damaged the mansion on 12/11/24. The visitor center and carriage house are still in good condition but remain closed to the public. There is no anticipated date for reopening any portion of the park. Exhibits/Programs

Visitor Center: The exhibit hall, which highlights the Bidwell’s influence, is generally accessible. Assistance in the store is available, if needed. A captioned video about the Bidwell’s and upper floors of the mansion is available. Accessible parking and restrooms are available.

Carriage House: Located behind the mansion, the carriage house offers displays that are generally accessible.
