Online Application Steps

Discount passes are available to qualifying individuals through an application process. Applications are reviewed to confirm eligibility. Once confirmed, applicants must return to the Reserve California website to complete the process. The steps are outlined below.  

Disabled Discount, Distinguished Veteran, Golden Bear, and Limited Use Golden Bear Pass  

Apply online through www.ReserveCalifornia.com using the following steps: 

1. Click on 'Passes' at the top.  

1. You'll need to create an account or log into an existing one (this will allow you to book reservations online using your pass benefits).  

1. Once logged in, you'll see a blue/green banner on the passes page that says, 'Apply for a Discount Pass', click 'Apply now'.  

1. Select the pass type you are applying for and click ‘Apply’.  

1. Next, you'll upload documents and submit your application.  

1. Once reviewed and approved by the Parks Pass Office, you'll receive an email to log in and purchase your pass. Your pass will become effective immediately for making online reservations and a physical card will be mailed to you. 

California State Park Adventure Pass (Fourth Graders) 

Apply online through www.ReserveCalifornia.com using the following steps: 

1. Click on 'Passes' at the top.  

1. You'll need to create an account or log into an existing one (this will allow you to book reservations online using your pass benefits).  

1. Once logged in, scroll to ‘Select Customer.’Begin completing form. 

1. Under ‘Select Pass,’ choose the appropriate Adventure pass for the year the fourth grader’s school ends.  

1. Finish completing the form. Click ‘Add to Cart’ and complete the process.  

1. Your pass is immediately available. A copy will be emailed to you and the pass will be available under‘Your Passes’ within your account.
