Statewide Recognition for Wildfires
California State Parks is proud to honor our dedicated staff who tirelessly and valiantly rose to the enormous challenges during the recent devastating wildfires. Working round-the-clock, these teams risked their lives to protect the public and our communities and preserve California’s natural and cultural resources. Although this year’s ceremony highlights specific teams who were nominated for their efforts during the wildfires, the department acknowledges this year’s recognition does not fully reflect all those—and the list is long—who provided support.
