2009 California State Capitol Holiday Music Program

Holiday music fills the Dome, as the California’s State Capitol features free lunchtime holiday concerts.

In December  visitors can enjoy a variety of musical presentations each day in a rotunda decked with glowing vintage decorations and turn-of-the century floral arrangements. 

From bell choirs to harps and high school bands, the concerts will feature some of California's finest performers.

The holiday music program recaptures a tradition of festive music and décor which began with the grand opening of the Capitol in December 1869.
