A day-long symposium featuring archaeological projects within California State Parks was part of the 2007 Society for California Archaeology (SCA) Annual Meeting. The SCA conference was held at the Doubletree Hotel in downtown San Jose on March 22-25, 2007. The State Parks Symposium was scheduled for Friday, March 23rd.
The participants in this symposium consisted of State Parks Archaeologists, contractors to State Parks, and archaeologists who are conducting research within units of the State Park System. The Society for California Archaeology is a non-profit scientific and educational organization with 1,100 members.
