On November 7, 2006, voters passed Proposition 84 by 53.9 percent.  The $5.4 billion “Safe Drinking Water, Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control, River and Coastal Protection Bond Act of 2006” is detailed in Division 43 of the Public Resources Code.
