Parks California and California State Parks Announce up to $2.5 Million Available through Grants Programs for Nonprofit, Community and Tribal Organizations

SACRAMENTO – California State Parks and Parks California today announce the opening of two grant programs designed to support nonprofit, community and tribal organizations in strengthening connections to California’s state parks through art, culture and inclusive community engagement. The Arts in California Parks and Santa Cruz Community grants programs are now accepting applications.

Parks California Awards $1 Million to more than 30 Organizations

SACRAMENTO – Parks California and California State Parks today announced grants to 31 organizations throughout California, totaling more than $1 million to improve access to state parks and create memorable nature experiences. Through Parks California’s Route to Parks grant program, these funds will help more than 7,700 people create lasting memories at state parks in 2025.

California State Parks and Parks California Announce Joint Effort to Bolster Park Workforce Throughout California

SACRAMENTO — California State Parks and Parks California are excited to announce the awardees for the 2024-2026 Career Pathways Grants. Fourteen local organizations will receive a total of over $1.1 million to help train people for careers in parks and public lands. The Career Pathways Program helps California State Parks work with local organizations to prepare people and overcome barriers to access for careers in parks.
