Hazard Tree Removal at Negro Bar -Folsom Lake State Recreation Area
FOLSOM, Calif. - California State Parks will be removing several hazardous trees in the Negro Bar unit of Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The park will remain open to the public; however the swim beach at Negro Bar will be closed to public access from Monday, September 19, 2016 through Wednesday, September 21, 2016.
The American River Bike trail just west of Negro Bar will also be impacted by this work on September 19. The bike trail will remain open; however trail users may experience slight delays while the arborist removes a single tree adjacent to the trail.
During the tree removal work the launch ramp, day use area and other parts of the park will remain open to public use.
