Native Plant Exploration
Come join us for a morning of exploration!
Friday, June 26th at 9 a.m., we will be embarking on a journey of restoration and biodiversity, as we explore the myriad native plant species here at beautiful Dos Rios State Park. Join staff as we discuss the ecological role native plants play as part of our larger efforts to rewild and rehabilitate our floodplains here in the Central Valley. The trek will take us around the 1.85-mile loop surrounding our pond loop. It is an easy-to-moderate hike and suitable for most age groups. Entrance fees are waived during the opening phases of Dos Rios, but remember to bring sunscreen, bug spray, plenty of water, and snacks for a bite at our ramadas!
