First Day Polar Bear Plunge

Out with the old, in with the cold - and in with the new! Dive right into the New Year with California State Parks' first annual polar bear plunge at South Cardiff State Beach! 

This event is FREE but day use parking fees apply. RSVP preferred – follow the link below!

Time: 10 am – 12 pm  

Location: Meet next to Tower 11 near the south parking lot (Seaside).  For driving directions, click the link to Cardiff State Beach Parking

What to Expect:Participants must be confident in their swimming abilities and be aware of inherent risks around the ocean. Be prepared with a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, drinking water and your New Year's resolutions! Wetsuits, extra towels and warm layers are encouraged.

Warm drinks and firepits will be available free of charge while supplies last. Don't forget to BYOM - Bring Your Own Mug!
