Overview
Cuyamaca Rancho State Park sits about 6000 feet high in the Peninsular Mountain Range, some 40 miles east of San Diego. The park is on Highway 79, 5 miles north of I-8 in Descanso. Phone (760) 765-0755 for more information.Camping
All campgrounds are closed seasonally, December through March.Green Valley Campground: Four campsites in the main campground are accessible (#25, #44, #69, and #78). The combo restroom/shower building in the middle of the campground, across from campground host site #40, is accessible. A single van accessible parking stall is available at the combo building.
Two campsites in the equestrian campground are accessible (#12 and #13). The combo restroom/shower building in the equestrian campground is accessible. and a horse mounting platform is available.
The campfire center, situated between the Arroyo Seco Picnic Area and the equestrian campground, is accessible. A single van accessible parking stall is available. Accessible restrooms are available in the picnic area.
Paso Picacho Campground: Five campsites are accessible (#9, #21, #53, #60, and #66). Accessible restroom/shower buildings are within close proximity to all of the sites.
Two cabins (Cedar and Coulter) are accessible. The combo restroom/shower building adjacent to these cabins is accessible.
Group Camp A is accessible. Parking, routes, and nearby restroom/shower building are accessible.
The campfire center, accessed from the Day-Use Picnic Area, is accessible. Parking and restrooms in the day-use area are accessible.
Picnic Area
Green Valley Campground: Accessible picnicking is available in the Arroyo Seco Picnic Area. Parking, restrooms, and pathways in the picnic area are accessible.Paso Picacho Campground: Accessible picnicking is available in the Day-Use Picnic Area. Parking, restroom, and pathways in the picnic area are accessible.
Trails
The Azalea Glen Loop Trail is a 1.35 mile accessible loop trail in mountainous forest area. The trail surface is compacted aggregate and soil. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% with intermittent sections between 5% to 8%, two sections for 56 feet at 9%, and one section for 12 feet at 10%. The trailhead with accessible parking is located near the entrance kiosk to the Paso Picacho Campground.The Stonewall Mine Trail is a 0.56 mile accessible loop trail in mountainous forest area near Lake Cuyamaca. The trail surface is compacted gravel and soil. The trail is generally flat at less than 5% with intermittent sections between 5% to 8%. The trailhead is located at the Stonewall Mine parking area on Stonewall Mine Road.

Exhibits/Programs
The Visitor Center, located on Highway 79 halfway between the Green Valley Campground and Paso Picacho Campground, is open most Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
