Overview

The opening of Fort Ord Dunes State Park adds another 4 miles of public coastline to the California State Park System. The park is located between the cities of Marina and Seaside in Monterey County and vehicle access is provided at the end of 8th street in Seaside.

Other Information

The parking lot includes accessible parking spaces and an accessibly designed chemical toilet. While future planned development will provide much greater access, existing paved roads throughout the park are closed to public vehicle traffic and may be useable for visitors who use wheelchairs.
