Overview

Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park includes 8 miles of wild coast and lots of old growth coast redwoods. Along with Prairie Creek, Jedediah Smith, and the National Park Service's Redwood National Park, Del Norte is managed cooperatively by the National Park Service and the California Department of Parks and Recreation. Very high cliffs make the bulk of the seacoast inaccessible other than by rather steep trails. The entrance to the park is 2 miles off Highway 101 about 7 miles south of Crescent City. Phone (707) 465-7335 or (707) 465-5128 for more information.

Camping

Mill Creek Campground: Six accessible campsites with paved pads are dispersed over the north and south campground loops. Each loop also features accessible restrooms with showers.
