Check In
- At most parks, check-in begins at 2 p.m. on the reservation’s start date. Check your confirmation message for park-specific information.
- Be prepared to present the reservation confirmation message and photo identification when arriving at your destination.
- For discounted reservations, proof of discount eligibility (e.g. pass or membership card) must be shown at check-in.
Check Out
- Unless otherwise stated in the confirmation message, check out time is noon on the reservation end date.
- Please leave the reserved site in good condition and follow any specific instructions provided by park staff.
Pets
- Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than six feet and in a tent or enclosed vehicle at night.
- Except for service animals, pets are not allowed in park buildings, on trails, or on most beaches, unless specifically designated as being open to dogs on leash. (In general, dogs are not allowed on trails, near rivers or creeks, in the open forest and meadows, or in the environmental campsites.). Visit parks.ca.gov/Dogs for more information.
