Spring Hike

10:15 am - 1:30 pm

Come explore and celebrate the diversity of life on Angel Island with two former park staff. Join us on a 3-mile hike, where we'll stop to admire and discuss the various ecosystems, plants, and animals along the way. Expect to encounter native wildflowers, singing birds, lichens, and more! Our exact route will depend on weather and trail conditions, but you should be prepared for 3 miles of potentially muddy trails, with some steep, narrow, and uneven sections.

Meet at 10:15 am at the ferry dock on Angel Island. Restrooms and drinking water are available only at the dock; there are no facilities along our hiking route. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and layers for changing weather. Bring a water bottle, a snack to eat along the way, sunscreen, and binoculars if you have them.
