Afternoon Guided Hike: A Lovely Loop
Starts at Mountain Home at 12:30pm
Join State Park Interpreter Hillary Colyer on a forest adventure, taking trails [hopefully] rich with late season fungi, lovely creek crossings, and a variety of wildflowers.
Early spring is a stunning time on Mt Tam! Water is still flowing, everything is so green, and a wide variety of seasonal wildflowers are in bloom. This loop hike on Matt Davis and Troop 80 will take in these delights as it crosses the same creeks twice and goes in and out of chaparral and redwood forest ecosystems.
Meeting location: Mountain Home Parking Lot (across from 810 Panoramic Highway).
