Led by knowledgeable guides, these tours offer a fascinating journey through the streets of Old Town, revealing the people, cultures, and events that shaped San Diego’s early beginnings.

As guests stroll through the Park, they’ll learn how converging cultures transformed the area from a Kumeyaay village to a Mexican pueblo and eventually into an American settlement. Along the way, guides share compelling stories of early trade, military life, and the relationships between settlers and the Kumeyaay people who helped form this vibrant community. The tour includes visits to original adobe homes, historic gardens, and lesser-known hidden gems, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the sights, sounds, and culture of 19th-century San Diego.

Space is limited to 18 participants per tour, so early sign-up is encouraged. Groups of 10 or more are asked to schedule a private walking tour in advance.
