Big Basin Love in the Temperate Rain Forest Hike

Join us on an easy hike while hearing about the story of love in the woods. Under the tall trees visitors will hear the tales of fairy circles, the reproductive cycle of coast redwoods, squirrels, banana slugs, acorn woodpeckers, and the tried-and-true tale of lichen love. 

Participation is free, however, a $10 vehicle day-use fee will be charged upon arrival, or you can reserve a parking spot by clicking here. Please plan to meet at the temporary visitor center area located next to the restrooms.. Bring your own water or purchase water from Parking Kiosk as there is no running water, electricity or cell service at Big Basin!
