Oak Community Science Walk

When: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Where: Malibu Creek State Park Main Trailhead Parking Lot (near bathrooms)
Length: 2 miles | Easy, mostly flat

What to Expect:
Discover the importance of oaks and oak woodlands! Learn how these mighty trees support wildlife, shape ecosystems, and connect people to the landscape. Participate in a hands-on community science activity to help protect oaks for the future. Walk ends at the Visitor Center; continue exploring or return to your car at your own pace.

Preparation:
Wear layers and closed-toe shoes. Bring water. Flashlight recommended if you plan to continue hiking afterward.

Special Instructions:
Rain cancels. No pets allowed.
