Locke History Tour

Join Parks staff on Saturday, December 20th at 12:00 PM for a short guided tour of the historic Chinese American community of Locke, California! Learn about the history of the United States’ only remaining rural community built by and for the Chinese, hear touching stories of perseverance under societal pressure, and enjoy the many surviving examples of a raucous industry catering to weekend visitors. We will meet in front of the Locke Boarding House at noon and the tour will take approximately an hour and a half. Admission and participation in the tour is completely free!
