7:30pm at the Pantol Stage in the Pantoll Campground

8/16: Medicine from the Mountain!?
Come to the Pantoll Stage in the Pantoll Campground for an exploration of medicinal plants found on Mt Tam.

From native yerba santa to naturalized scarlet pimpernel, find out the science behind the medicinal value of Mt Tam plant life, both common and rare. We will also talk about the dozens of other plants traditionally used as medicine, with the hope of inspiring future research!
 
Disclaimer that collecting is not allowed in the State Park, the Water District, or the Muir Woods.

8/23: Coyotes
Come to the Pantoll Stage in the Pantoll Campground for an exploration of one of Mt Tam's key predators: the coyote.

Love them or hate them, coyotes have an important role in many ecosystems. They are also culturally important to many groups of people. Learn about this canid's abilities, how people have changed this animal, and discuss coexisting with this much-maligned song dog.

8/30: Campfire Trivia Night
Join us at the Pantoll Stage (campfire center) in the Pantoll Campground for a night of family-friendly trivia about Mt Tam. Test your knowledge about the mountain's wildlife & history and learn what you don't know as you go!

 

*There is no seating at the Pantoll Stage, so please bring your own folding chairs. Participants may also bring food and beverages. It may be dark when the program wraps up, so have flashlights or headlamps handy!
