Sonoma SHP - Music In The Mission

Wildflower Weed was originally formed in the early 2000s as a banjo and guitar duo, playing both original music and covers from artists like Gillian Welch, The Grateful Dead and Kate Wolf. Through the years, the band has evolved, inviting diverse and eclectic musicians into the fold, expanding on its sound while always staying true to its roots: Hippy Mountain Music, Gypsy style with a bit of Sea Shanty-Pirate for good measure.

The band’s current iteration includes Mary Bennett on banjo and vocals, Lane Means on guitar and vocals, Meghan McKee with her haunting viola & Nazar Eljumaily playing powerful, compelling lead guitar.
