Gerstle Cove and Woodside Campground offers 109 developed sites in total. Campsite lengths vary, and most of the pads are level and paved. Call for site specifics and length estimates. Every campsite includes a picnic table, food box, and fire ring. There are water spigots throughout the campground loops. Gerstle Cove Campground is open year-round, while Woodside Campground opens May 1st and closes November 1st.

En-route (Overflow) Camping is for SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY (must have flushable, holding tank on board), and is located between Gerstle Cove Campground and the Day Use parking lot. Open fires are prohibited in the En-Route Camping area (propane fire-pits are allowed).

Warren Group Campground is located within Gerstle Cove Campground. Reservations for this site accommodate a maximum of 40 people and 10 vehicles. Included in the site are picnic tables, food boxes, fire rings, spigots, a dumpster, and bathroom facilities.

Hike & Bike is available for campers arriving on foot or on bicycle. It is located behind the Woodside Ranger Station. Picnic tables, food boxes, and fire rings are all included within a site. Hike & Bike is open year-round.

Please note: The Walk-In Environmental Campsites are closed indefinitely.

Extra Vehicle Policy

Even though most sites have room for two or more vehicles, your reservation includes only one vehicle and one legally towed vehicle or trailer. All extra-vehicles are charged $10 per night at the campground. If you do not have space for your extra-vehicles at your campsite, we have extra-vehicle parking located near the kiosks.

Juvenile Camping:

A parent or guardian must accompany youths under 18 years of age. The Supervising Ranger may approve the stay of a juvenile that presents written consent from their parent or guardian that states the dates of the authorized stay and the park name. Additionally, a verifiable contact number for the parent or guardian must be provided, as well as medical consent in the event of an emergency. If staff cannot contact a parent or guardian, the juvenile will not be allowed to stay in the campground. Please have the permission slip of a parent or guardian ready for park staff upon check-in.

Firewood

Campfire wood is available for sale in the park from 4pm to 7pm for $10 per bundle. Price is reduced as more bundles are purchased (up to three). Wood gathering is not allowed within the park. Please do not gather dead wood or wood from downed trees.
