Time: 9:00 am until 9:45 am

Join Interpretive Specialists in watching out for wildlife! This 45 min program will include learning how to use binoculars (please bring your own) and learn how to look for signs for spotting migrating gray whales and identifying coastal birds! All ages are welcome! At South Carlsbad meet at our amphitheater by the Camp store to partake in the fun! If the tide is right, we may take a beach walk. Parents must accompany children.

There is no day-use parking at South Carlsbad State Beach campgrounds. There is parking on the streets around the park and at the North Ponto lot, though they are at a distance from the event location.
