California Citrus State Historic Park Celebrates Its 30th Anniversary and Annual Citrus Festival April 5 and 6

California State Parks and its partner, The Friends of California Citrus Park, will be hosting two monumental events on Friday, April 5, and Saturday, April 6, 2024California Citrus State Historic Park will celebrate its 30th anniversary and Annual Citrus Festival with citrus tasting, live music, delicious food, cultural and educational booths and more!


30th Anniversary Celebration

On Friday, April 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., the historic park will host its 30th Anniversary Celebration with a reception starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Sunkist Center. The event will feature citrus tasting and refreshments. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. there will be program titled “Celebrating Citrus History Through Music” adjacent to the Sunkist Center. This program features the Riverside Swing Ensemble, who will perform music from different historical eras to complement presentations by State Parks.

The event will host a variety of food and drink options to purchase from various food vendors. General admission is free with limited first come, first serve seating. Parking is $7 per vehicle. VIP seating is offered for $50 which includes preferred seating, a charcuterie box, beer or wine ticket, and macaroon. Annual Citrus Festival

On Saturday, April 6, celebrate the height of the citrus season with the Annual Citrus Festival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can enjoy a variety of citrus tastings, cultural and educational booths, craft vendors, cooking demonstrations, live music, hands-on activities, and an array of food and beverages options. Parking and admission to the festival is $7 per vehicle. Come enjoy a day of fun at California Citrus SHP.
