California Trails & Greenways Conference

The Recreational Trails Conference Foundation and California State Parks partner in hosting the California Trails & Greenways Conference. The conference location rotates between Northern and Southern California and offers a variety of workshops, educational sessions, plenaries and keynote speakers all focusing on statewide issues. The California Trails & Greenways Conference provides an opportunity for land and recreation program planners, trail administrators and managers; trail advocacy groups; trail builders; and other trail enthusiasts to network and advocate for trails in their community as well as learn about new techniques and opportunities.

Award Nominations are now being accepted for the 2009 California Trails & Greenways Conference!
Please send in your nomination! The Conference Awards Committee is seeking nominees for recognition at the 2009 Conference. This is your opportunity to bring acknowledgement and appreciation to those individuals, organizations or agencies that deserve our praise for providing the most outstanding efforts to promote, enhance or expand public awareness and use of trails/greenways in California. Any individual, organization or agency may make a nomination in any one or more of the Conference award categories. Except for the Lifetime Achievement Awards and California Recreational Trails Committee Award, all nominees must be agencies or organizations.
