Walks in the City – San Diego
San Diego County Parks and Recreation has partnered with State Parks to encourage walking for health and wellness for San Diego County employees. Offering eight walks varying in length from .08 to 2.9 miles SanDiego joins the popular State Parks’ program Take a Hike! City Walks.

Capitol Walks City Walks Sacramento is part of the department’s Take a Hike! program aimed at keeping us healthy and fit.  Govenor's Seal The Governor’s Challenge
Hiking is a great way to be active.  Take a Hike! with California State Parks and join the Governor's Challenge – Be active 30-60 minutes a day; 3 days a week for 4 weeks, and earn a Free Reward from the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.  For more information log on to http://www.calgovcouncil.org
