California Historical Landmarks (Landmarks) are buildings, sites, features, or events that are of statewide significance and have anthropological, cultural, military, political, architectural, economic, scientific or technical, religious, experimental, or other historical value. California Points of Historical Interest (Points) are buildings, sites, features, or events that are of local (city or county) significance and have anthropological, cultural, military, political, architectural, economic, scientific or technical, religious, experimental, or other historical value. The California Register of Historical Resources (California Register) includes buildings, sites, structures, objects and districts significant in the architectural, engineering, scientific, economic, agricultural, educational, social, political, military, or cultural annals of California. The resources below were listed in the California Register by the State Historical Resources Commission. This is not a comprehensive list of resources on the California Register and does not reflect resources listed in the California Register by consensus determination. The National Register of Historic Places (National Register) includes buildings, structures, objects, sites, and districts of local, state, or national significance in American history, architecture, archeology, engineering, and culture.
