Purpose Statement:
The purpose of the California Trails & Greenways Conference is to present a forum for education, networking and development of strategies for envisioning, planning, funding, designing, constructing, and managing non-motorized recreational trails in California.
Vision:
To achieve this purpose, the conference will:
Offer educational opportunities on a variety of trail subjects including current issues facing the trails community
Conduct workshops providing hands-on training on a variety of trail topics
Provide opportunities for Californiaˇ¦s growing trails community to network
Showcase innovative trail-related products and services available in the marketplace
Host a California Recreational Trails Committee public meeting
All activities are designed to increase the knowledge of trail and recreational land management professionals which will support improvement of trail systems and programs located in California.
The California Trails Conference Foundation hosts the California Trails & Greenways Conference with major sponsorship by California State Parks and others (shown to the right). The conference location rotates between Northern and Southern California and offers a variety of workshops, educational sessions, plenaries and keynote speakers all focusing on statewide issues. The California Trails & Greenways Conference provides an opportunity for land and recreation program planners, trail administrators and managers, trail advocacy groups, trail builders and other trail enthusiasts to network and advocate for trails in their community as well as learn about new techniques and opportunities.

Students, CCC & YCC members - on a tight budget? The Student rate will allow you to attend conference sessions and a networking meal. To qualify for the Student rate you must show proof of being a full-time student at a bona fide learning institution. Welcome to a great learning experience!!
