Proposition 84 - Statewide Park Program
Final version of the Application Guide is adopted
The Office of Grants and Local Services (OGALS) is pleased to announce that the final Statewide Park Program Application Guide, dated April 1, 2009, is adopted. However, due to the bond freeze, implementation of the program has been delayed. Applications are not being accepted at this time.
The guidelines are the culmination of extensive statewide outreach and participation through public comment periods that began on December 1, 2008 and ended on March 11, 2009. OGALS held nine heavily attended public hearings throughout California and received more than four-hundred comments at these hearings and through emails and letters.
