About Result Numbers

Responses on this page show the number of people ("n") in each bar/response. Note that for this survey, a sample size greater than 385 will have a 95% confidence level and a +/- 5% confidence interval. This means that a sample of this size will produce answers that, 95 times out of a 100, would fall within plus or minus five percent of the answer that would be produced if asked of the entire population.

In general, use caution when making comparisons between query results. If your result has a sample size ("n") of less than 385, then both the statistical confidence level may drop and confidence interval may increase. Also note that statistical tests to determine whether or not statistically significant differences exist between findings have not been performed.
